Our story
A local tradition, carried on
Paradise Poochie was built by Debbie and George, who spent years supplying St. Augustine pet owners with quality food and supplies. When Debbie retired in May 2021, the Brennan family — from Bucks County, Pennsylvania — moved down to continue the tradition.
Tommy Brennan has been in and around the pet world for a long time: a restaurant owner, then a pet food and products sales manager, a Golden Retriever breeder and a show handler. It started with one Golden Retriever puppy more than 35 years ago.
The best foods, natural healthy choices, and an educated, passionate, dedicated and pet-loving team of associates, working to make a better life for all our Pets.

Love this pet store! The quality of the products is top-notch, and the owner is always so kind and helpful. He offers to carry the big bag of food out to my car every time I come in. With so many pet foods containing questionable ingredients these days, I'm incredibly grateful to have a locally owned shop that runs with such integrity. Prices are very reasonable, too. Have been buying products for our fur kids since this store opened. Now on second owner and just as excellent selection and service with expanded product selection.
